We are looking for a part-time Social Media Marketing Executive (part-time 15-20 hours per week – fully flexible).

Our success and growth over 16 years have been through recommendations and reputation, we are now looking to exceed this with further emphasis on our digital marketing strategy and use of our social channels.

The role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the management, growth and engagement of our social channels as part of our digital marketing strategy with a strong emphasis on visual design.

We are looking for someone with a passion for design to create highly engaging visual multi-media content for social media. Someone who is also happy editing websites and creating literature to promote our business.

The Responsibilities

  • To oversee and manage social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter).
  • Create and manage a social media calendar scheduling posts using scheduling tools (such as ContentCal).
  • Create visually engaging multi-media content for the audience in line with the marketing strategy.
  • Regularly audit and evaluate the success of social media platforms and report on progress.
  • Create promotional materials (including sales documents and flyers using Canva or similar) to support the sales team.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • Identify trends and uncover insights and trends that will help us to improve our social media working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager.
  • Engage with audiences across the platforms on a daily basis to increase followers and brand awareness.
  • Maintain consistent branding and tone of voice across all social channels.

Requirements

Essential

  • An understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience segmentation.
  • Strong design skills to be able to produce multi-media posts.
  • An understanding of B2B marketing (particularly SMEs) and experience of using social media in a business setting.
  • Knowledge of scheduling software (such as Hootsuite / ContentCal) and design such as Canva.
  • Experience in working with WordPress and an understanding of web editing.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with CRM systems such as Hubspot.
  • Must hold a driving licence and ability to travel to the office – half of the contracted hours are based at our offices near Guildford, Surrey.

Desirable

  • A passion for social media and creating engaging content.
  • Min 3 years experience managing social media accounts for a business.
